In 2013 the Government of Brunei Darussalam offering three scholarships at major universities in the country. Scholarships are offered for level diploma, bachelor's, master's to doctoral studies at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB).

Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) 2013

the Government offers scholarships Malaysia, Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) for international candidates. The program is offered for the levels of S-2, S-3, and post-doctoral.

This scholarship is open to a number of subject areas, including science and engineering, agriculture and fisheries, economics and Islamic finance, information and communication technology, biotechnology, biosecurity and food safety, and utility infrastructure, environmental studies, and health.

This scholarship gives us the facility will bear the round trip ticket from their home countries, tuition fees, living allowance each month, the annual allowance for books and travel in the country, health insurance, benefits to formulate a thesis, and a grant to travel in order international conference or journal publication.

When people find out that I'm a music therapist, the comments I hear most often are "I wish I could sing!" or "Oh, I love to sing, but I'm not good enough to do it in front of anyone". Some of these people tell me that, as children, a parent, teacher or someone else told them that they should just mouth the words because they didn't have a good enough voice.

Singing is our birthright! Singing is a natural and pure expression of how glad we feel to be alive, and the way we show our love of music. Here are my top five reasons to sing out your stress:

1. To connect with your body: We sing with our whole bodies. Because singing is so connected to closely with breath, singing helps us "be in our bodies" and let go of the thinking (or worrying) we do much of the day. Singing can be a joyful activity and can release endorphins (those feel-good chemicals that the body creates).

Goals are like signposts. As long as you can see these signposts, then you know you are heading in the right direction. When you set goals, you eliminate the possibility veering off the track and derailing into failure. When a train veers of the rails, the entire locomotive is derailed. Looking at the rails, one does not see anything special in them; just a solid mass of steel. But that simple mass of steel ensures that the train remains on course and that everyone on board reaches their destination safely and on time.

Goals are like rails. Without them, our claim to success will never find expression in reality. Just as a train must stay on the rails to complete the journey, our dreams, our ambitions, and our desires must find expression in goals that are clear, realistic and timely.

Driving to the beach. Visiting the park for an enjoyable picnic. Seeing a baseball game. Calling on the local fishing hole. These are great summertime activities. Other pursuits include painting, cutting the grass and washing and waxing the car. We look forward to all of them with great anticipation. When the weather gets warm (no doubt about it), thoughts and actions turn to outdoor events.

One activity that gets forgotten by many college-bound students and their families is the inside expedition of hunting for college scholarships, searching for huge scholarship dollars, initiating the quest for money that will significantly reduce or eliminate college debt. This happens for four reasons. First, it is easy to forget because summer is now and scholarships are in the future, the distant future. Second, my child is not smart enough to win a scholarship. So, why bother thinking about it now or ever. A third possibility: our student has no desire to go to college. Fourth, our family income is too high.

These are all relevant ideas. But, they are all bogus. Here’s why. Summer is the best time to begin scholarship activities because there is no rush to get the job done. One can take time to do everything leisurely and thoroughly. Rushing creates anxiety and anxiety creates mistakes. The old maxim slow and sure wins the race also applies to going after scholarships.

Some students are slow in developing. The first two years produce mediocre outcomes, while the junior and senior years produce above average results. And, know this, scholarship committees often regard the last two years as more important than the first two!

Got a seventeen year old that has no intention of getting a post-high school education? Attention, attention, attention: a high percentage of these change their minds. Golden Key Math Scholarship

Description: This award recognizes members who excel in the study of math.
Scholarships Available: Two - $1,000 (USD) scholarships.
Eligibility: Those eligible are undergraduate members majoring in math who are currently enrolled in classes at a degree-granting program at the time of award notification.
Criteria: Academic achievement in field, quality of paper submitted.

Application requirements:
1. Follow the instructions to Register Your Scholarship Application.
2. Print out the cover page from the online registration and use it as a cover for your entire application.
3. Attach the following required documentation:
A math related paper/report you have prepared. The submission must not exceed 10 pages of text.

An essay no more than 500 words describing the assignment for writing the paper, what the greatest challenge was in writing the paper, what lessons were learned from completing the assignment, and if you were to rewrite the report, what would be changed.

GET SCHOLARSHIP Developing Countries Partnership Scholarship (DCPS)

1. Financial assistance

* While taking the Indonesian language course and preparatory programs, a student will get Rp. 1.000.000,-/month (cost of living only).

* During their Master Programs in Indonesia, students will get monthly stipend as follows :

* Cost of Living (Net) = Rp. 1.000.000,-
* Research Allowance (Net) = Rp. 300.000,-
* Books (Net) = Rp. 200.000,-
* The tuition fee will be covered by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia

2. Health insurance
The students are eligible to check up their health condition at a public health center referred to by the university. Health insurance given to the students is based on the recommended doctors statement. In case students should see specialists including dentists, eye specialists and maternity specialists, they should bear all the cost.

3. Schedule The scholarship will be given for a maximum of 36 months with the following schedule

Indonesian Language Course, 8 month, Sept ’08 – April ’09
Preparatory Programs, 4 month, May ’09 – ugust’09
Master Programs, 24 month, Sept ’09 – ugust’11

The API Senior Fellowships

The API Senior Fellowships are meant for those with an established track record as a public intellectual who is 40 or more as of August 31, 2008. The project may take from one to twelve months, and may visits in up to four API participating countries. In addition to the general eligibility above, the applicants for the API Senior Fellowships must:

Be 40 years of age or more as of August 31, 2008 (exceptions may be made);
Have the ability and experience to conduct research projects and/orprofessional activities in the participating countries other than his/her native country or country of residence;
Undertake the proposed research projects and/or professional activities in up to four of the participating countries, but in a country(ies) other than in the applicant's native country or country of residence;
Undertake the proposed research projects and/or professional activities for a continuous period of between one to twelve months; and
Have the ability, influence, and means to disseminate the results of their research projects and/or professional activities.

The API Fellowships are for those under 40 as of August 31, 2008. The project may take from four to twelve months, and may visits in one or two API participating countries. In addition to the general eligibility above, the applicants for the API Fellowships must:

Be under the age of 40 as of August 31, 2008 (exceptions may be made);
Have the ability and desire to engage in research projects and/or professional activitites in the participating countries other than his/her native or country of residence;
Undertake the proposed research projects and/or professional activities for a consecutive period of between four to twelve months; and
Undertake the proposed research projects and/or professional activities in up to two of the participating countries, but in a country(ies) other than the applicant's native country or country of residernce.

An application must include:
1. Application Form
2.A Cover Letter with brief introduction of yourself and why you are applying for the API Fellowships Program.
3. A Curriculum Vitae with details of your education, professional career, publications, and achievements. (Not more than three pages.)
4. Two Reference Letters if these are not in English, you must provide an English translation. These letters should be addressed to the API Fellowships Program, and be written within three months before the deadline for submission.
5. Project Proposal, please include the following points (in less than five pages):
# What is your project in more detail?
# Why do you want to do it?
# Why are you the right person to do this project? (mention relevant previous experience.)
# How are you going to do it? (methodology)
# What will be the outputs (research paper, video, performance, etc.) and how will you disseminate them?
# How does the project contribute to the goal of API?
# What are your past achievements and future plans as a public intellectual? (organization, advocacy, publication, etc.) How does the Fellowship help you?

The deadline for application submission is August 31, 2008
Interviews will take place in September/October 2008.
The results will be announced in February 2009.
The project must be carried out between July 1, 2009 and July 31, 2010
